Ian Mold was born in a state of Australia that consists of more than 50% that is World Heritage Listed Areas, National Parks, State Forests or Forest Reserves.. A state that he took for granted and did not realise that growing up in an  environment with such rare beauty would instill in him an attraction to be in National Parks for the rest of his life.
