The
camera I use to take photographs is a large format
4X5 Swiss made Sinar P2. It satisfies my requirements
to capture the highest quality image that can be reproduced
as a print up to 100 inches (2.5 metres) wide at 300
dpi (dots per inch). (I also use a Canon EOS 20D digital
to get a quick copy of whatever I am photographing).
UPDATE:
May 2006
I
have traded in the Sinar P2 for a Sinar F2, instead
of aluminium construction it is made from a very hard
polymer. This means it is lighter AND it breaks down
into pieces that fit into a custom made foam/rubber
compartment inside my Caribee (that's Australian Made)
85 litre backpack.
Plus, I have purchased a second telephoto lens (a
Schneider - Kreuznach 5.6/250 Tele Arton; in addition
to my Schneider KREUZNACH Super-Angulon 8/90 lens
for wide angle shots)
I
have succesfully taken my Sinar F2 in the backpack
and climbed one of the highest mountains in Australia
and photographed from the top of that mountain.
It
just gets better and better....
