First, you need to find the screen size you need for your computer.
(if you alrready know this skip to step 2)
Go to Start > Control Panel > Display > Settings >
and look on this page where it says "screen resolution"
you will see numbers like "800 by 600 pixels"
That is your screen size, OK?

Choose the photo you want for your desktop and your screen size
and, using your mouse (or pad, if you have a laptop)
RIGHT CLICK on the sample photo on this page and select "save
picture as" and save it to a folder on your computer.
You now have downloaded the image that you will use as your new
desktop.

To install your new desktop, go to
Start > Control Panel > Display > Desktop > Browse
select the photo you downloaded by clicking the "open"
button
then click "OK" and you should be all ready to enjoy
your new desktop!
